Advances in computer technology allow for the development of numerous complex hydrologic modeling scenarios in a short period of time. Unfortunately, when trial models are developed in a "real time" mode, such as occurs in the collaborative process, often there is inadequate time for parties to run quality assurance checks to confirm that the numerical model actually represents real world desires and or outcomes. Unfortunately, the referenced file contained a number of inaccuracies in the characterization and description of conceptual alternatives modeled by EID to date, and has been deleted.

Because of the need to run quality assurance and other checks prior to public dissemination, the hydrologic modeling process will continue as a tool for discussion purposes in the Collaborative only.

EID apologizes for any inconvenience or concern its inaccurate representations may have caused other parties and will strive for accuracy and strict adherence to established protocols in the future.
